Osteoarthritis of the wrist

In osteoarthritis (joint wear) or arthritis (arthritis) reacts the wrist with an inflammatory swelling of the joint inner skin. An inflammation of the wrist is common in rheumatic diseases. This causes a Gelenkerguss, a deformation of the joint contours, a progression of cartilage destruction and not least pain. After exhausting all conservative treatment methods, which in our practice the gift of autologous, anti-inflammatory substances, is often a viable joint arthroscopic cleansing sense.

Discus plan of the triangularis

A special disease of the wrist is the plan of the Discus triangularis, the “meniscus” of the wrist. Like the meniscus in the knee joints, cartilage can also use the space in the wrist arthroscopic surgery. A self-healing Discus cracks is unfortunately unlikely.
