Before you request an appointment at the Clinic for Molecular Orthopedics, here is some important information you should be aware of:

Location: The clinic is located in Dusseldorf, Germany. You will be responsible for your travel to Dusseldorf and back, as well as for your accommodations while here. We are happy to suggest nearby hotels, some of which provide discounts to our patients. We can also suggest restaurants and tourist points of interest. Our entire staff is fluent in English, so there is no language barrier.

Treatment: Generally, ASC treatments (Onoccomed or Orthokine) treatments span a six-day period. They are performed on an out-patient basis and usually take about one hour total, depending on the number you receive. The first day may require two to three hours because a full orthopedic appraisal and diagnosis are included. Our clinic facility maintains the latest state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment so everything needed to access your condition is in one location. ASC treatments (Onoccomed or Orthokine) treatments do not require anesthesia of any kind, so your activity and awareness are not hindered in any way. You will able to return home immediately after your final treatment. For our personal very good clinical experience with Onoccomed, we offer this treatment now instead of Orthokine – the ACS treatment we have used for years now.

Cost: Treatment at our clinic is not usually covered by non-German health insurance, unless special dispensation is provided by your carrier. A six-day course of treatments including diagnosis and consultations averages between US$8,000-15,000, depending on the number of sites you have injected. Other procedures will be quoted to you via phone or e-mail, depending on your pre-diagnosis. Payment in full is due at the time of treatment. All major credit cards are accepted.

Physio: We have found that many patients benefit from training in core-strengthening exercise training. Our trainer teaches you how to strengthen specific muscles which take stress off of damaged joints in order to move with less discomfort and greater ease. If you are interested, we coordinate a training schedule with your treatment plan. Costs generally average approximately US$500 for six sessions, though prices are subject to change.
